some more painting is needed around the door, but this is how it looks in fall 2006

i spend entirely too much time sitting here

third floor front room status-post ceiling removal (that's old insulation -- “rock wool” -- piled there)

this is how the green room looked most of the '05-'06 school year

it was dusty up there, but Matt & Emily wanted some experience hanging drywall and we were grateful for the help! (front room)

Amy became our resident expert on drywall finishing thanks to Dwayne's coaching

looks great Amy; I'll bet you can't wait to help Dan sand it!

painting is always satisfying-- though sometimes it's scary to see the color for the first time
